LEGAL NOTICE

Public notice to solicit nominations for directors of the Albany County Weed and Pest Control District. Appointments to be made on January 17, 2023.

Pursuant to the Wyoming Weed and Pest Control Act (W.S. 11-5-101 through 11-5-303), notice is hereby given to solicit nominations for two appointments to the Albany County Weed and Pest Control District for four-year terms expiring in January 2027. Nominations for directors are available as follows:

Area 3: All lands north of the intersection of U.S Highway 30/287 and south of State Highway 34 (Sybille Canyon Highway) which are north of the centerlines of said highways.

Area 4: All lands north and west of State Highway 230 which is west and south of U.S. Highway 30, except lands in Townships 15 and 16 North, Ranges 73 and 74 West.

The appointments shall be made in Accordance with W.S. 11-5-104.

Prior to appointment, nominees for director shall submit a petition signed by at least ten (10) landowners, to the Office of County Commissioners, at least five (5) days before the date of the County Commissioners’ meeting (by January 12, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.). Petitions are available at the Weed and Pest Office and the Albany County Clerk’s Office.
