Call to Action:  HB0004-Medicaid Twelve Month Postpartum Coverage will be heard in the Wyoming House of Representatives, Thursday, January 19th.  This bill expands current Medicaid where the split is 50-50, Federal-State.  Please email House members listed below, and request they Vote “NO” on HB0004.

Dear Representative,

As a resident of _________ County, I oppose HB0004-Medicaid Twelve Month Postpartum Coverage. 

·        Once a program starts, it never ends, even though it has a cut-off date. 

·        Medicaid should be for the most vulnerable, not for this young, generally very healthy population. 

·        Medicaid coverage for this population will definitely require more taxes.

·        This bill will draw unintended consequences such as out-of-state individuals searching for more welfare.

Please Vote “NO” on HB0004.
