ELECTIONS - ELECTION JUDGES AND POLL WATCHERS
There are two opportunities to serve in the upcoming Primary Election on August 16. Both of these opportunities are very important as they help to ensure fair elections in our County.
First, Election Judges oversee the voting process on Election Day. To sign up to participate as an Election Judge, contact the County Clerk's office or fill out the simple application that is on the website. Click here to access the form. In the subject box of the form, enter ELECTION JUDGE and your PHONE NUMBER. Leave the message box blank. The County Clerk provides training for these Judges. Training date notices will be sent out towards the end of June. Training will be closer to the election on August 16. The date is TBD.
Second, Poll Watchers watch (from a reasonable distance) to ensure that voters are legally able to vote in Albany County. Training for poll watchers comes through the political party. In our case, it is the Wyoming Republican Party. This training will be held closer to Election Day. To get your name on the list, contact Roxie.
Some people are not sure if they should sign up to be a Poll Watcher or an Election Judge. We are encouraging people to sign up for both. County Chair, Roxie Hensley, and County Clerk, Jackie Gonzales, will make the final schedule for Election Day. They will plug people in where needed.
Albany County Republicans Freedom Award - Winners!!
We want to congratulate Connor Hobbs and Ezra Duncan for the inaugural award of $500 from the Albany County Republican Party Freedom Award.
The ACRP has made an award available thanks to the contributions of community members of Albany County. The purpose of this award is to make aware that liberty and freedom are what we always strive for.  The ACRP desires to increase awareness of the love for American exceptionalism and values supported by the United States Constitution and conservative values.
We have made this award for students who want to pursue the Armed forces, community colleges, 4 year institutions as well as trade schools. We are proud of our community to be able to provide this opportunity.
  • Connor is going on to study at Eastern Wyoming College to work for a welding degree.
  • Ezra will be attending WyoTech to study diesel technology.
We wish them both the best in their endeavors.

Candidate - Campaign Training - Jun 4, 2022
Rick Martin, ACRP Precinct Coordinator, will give a very informative, grassroots training on How to Build a Campaign from the Precinct Level Up. This is a repeat command performance for this training first offered in Feb, 2022.
It is very exciting to be a part of the growing momentum at ACRP. People are truly interested in running for office and supporting our candidates.
